Puerto de la Duuesa is one of Spain's best kept secrets and one of the loveliest parts of Andalucia, the area is just 2 hours flying time from London's airports, very close to the North African coast, on the same latitude as California, and now, thanks to the new highway, it is also very accessible...

The marina of Puerto de la Duquesa is one of the most popular marinas on the Costa del Sol.  There is a large selection of shops and restaurants close at hand.

Around the charming self-contained resort of La Duquesa, you will find every convenience and facility for your family's entertainment.  Strolling around the resort, each elegant archway leads into a new selection of shops, bars and restaurants, and thanks to the fact the heart of the resort is closed to traffic, this peaceful haven is a joy for holidaymakers of all ages.

The town of Sabinillas is approx. a 10 minute walk away and is linked by palm-lined boulevards. with a further choice of facilities including a Friday and Sunday market and some superb fish restaurants.  You can still see the fishermen bringing in their catch.   For children, there is a fabulous park with a mini childrens gym!  The area boasts many beautiful sandy Blue Flag beaches.  

El Castillo is also nearby where you have a number of tapas bars plus superb seafood restaurants.

A 20 minutes drive takes you to the legendary Puerto Banus! and just 15 minutes is the resort of Estepona where there is a fabulous Sunday market selling local and traditional ware.
